One picture. (Sorry, folks)
So we came to the Internet Cafe with big plans to upload a bunch of pictures so that people could see as well as read about what we’re seeing and doing. Several readers (we’re blushing about even having “several” readers) have requested this.
But it turned into a huge headache. The computers usually have decent Internet connection speed, but very slow processing speed. They never have decent editing software. Invariably we get frustrated dealing with all the slowness, and freezing, etc. We start thinking about all the fun we could be having outside of this modern but boring computing center. And so we give up.
Writing about what we’re doing, even if it’s on a computer, is nice. It helps us to think about our experiences and better remember and understand what we’re experiencing. Dealing with headaches trying to upload, download, sidewaysload, and edit giant picture files is not anyway to spend a trip in Africa.
So here is one picture. We do think it’s a nice one, of the Usambara Mountains from Mlalo.
